AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. through its wholly owned subsidiary AtkinsRéalis Australia Holdings Pty Ltd (AtkinsRéalis) proposes to acquire 100% of the shares in WGA Group Holdings Pty Ltd (WGA) through a scheme of arrangement.
AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. is a publicly traded, Canadian engineering and construction company with a global footprint. In Australia, AtkinsRéalis operates as a professional engineering and technical consultancy firm that provides engineering, design, advisory and delivery services to public and private customers across the transport, buildings and places, defence, energy and water sectors.
WGA is a multi-disciplinary engineering and project management consultancy firm, which operates across Australia and New Zealand. It provides engineering, technical, advisory, delivery and project management services as stand-alone commissions or multi-disciplinary packages to both public and private clients across the following sectors: buildings urban development, defence and space, energy, ports and marine, resources, sports and recreation, transport and water.
The ACCC notes that until 20 May 2026, this page identified the acquiring entity as AtkinsRéalis Engineering Pty Ltd, another wholly-owned subsidiary of AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. The new acquiring entity, AtkinsRéalis Australia Holdings Pty Ltd, was incorporated on 13 May 2026.
